Yearlings
Yearlings are between 12 and 24 months old. While not yet fully mature, it is possible to gauge their temperament, agility and promise.
2 year Old
At this age, horses are still growing often reaching 80-90% of their mature body weight and height
They are typically ready for basic training, including groundwork, saddling, and possibly starting under saddle for some breeds.
3 Year Old
A 3-year-old horse is at a significant stage of physical and mental development.
Highly impressionable and eager to learn making them very receptive to training.
